If you’ve found this post, then you’re probably struggling with getting your mods to load and operate correctly.
these are the steps i used to get my custom mod set to work.
Note: i do hope to go back through this with pics at each step, but wanted to get this written down while it was fresh in my memory.
first things first, does AMP load your instance with your chosen mod loader (Forge, Neoforge, fabric, etc) without any mods? Yes, carry on… No, you have other problems outside the scope of this post. [Sorry]
start your mod set in the curseforge app… do they work? yes, carry on… no, get it working there first.
open the folder of your modpack (open “MyModPacks”>[Three dots stacked]>open Mod folder)
copy contents of MODS, CONFIG & any unique folders that the mod added upon first launch (i.e. schematics [for create], journeymap, waypoints)
AMP will likely want them uploaded as a zip file
paste (upload) the zip file in the same directory as the mods & config directory
click the [three dots] for the zip
select “Extract Here”
restart (or stop and start) the server
enjoy
==========
i should note that the list of mod loader versions is NOT numerical in AMP (e.g. forge for 1.20.1 seems to top out at 47.4.5… i needed 47.4.16. i found it near the BOTTOM of the incredibly long list)
how about a search or sort ability, eh? [facepalm]
