New instance on a fresh installation won't start

OS Name/Version: Windows 10 Home 22H2

Product Name/Version: AMP Instance Manager 2.5.1.8

Problem Description: After a fresh installation, the local instance appears in the instance manager, but after launching nothing happens. I have tried it from the instance manager and directly through command prompt.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1 - Install AMP for windows 10
  • Step 2 - Start ADS01 instance
  • Step 3 - Redirected to webpage with " AMP is not currently running" header.

Actions taken to resolve so far: uninstalled and reinstalled, tried launching again multiple ways.

i updated and everything broke for me today, not one thing works. iv reinstalled 10 times and still nothing. was working fine before update.

Don’t reinstall AMP, it’ll make things worse rather than fixing anything.

Try manually stopping the AMP-ADS01 service in the services control panel, then running ampinstmgr upgradeall and ampinstmgr startall in the command prompt.
