Product Name/Version: Icarus rev 2.3.15.143810-x-x

Problem Description:AMP is not downloading the weekly update for Icarus

If you're sharing console output, logs, or commands you have run, please make sure to use code tags

Steps to reproduce:

Step 1 Start AMP if it is not running already
Step 2 Click on the Update Instance or the Update All Instances buttons
Step 3 Check the current version

Actions taken to resolve so far:

I have clicked on the two update buttons on different attempts. I have used the apinstmgr stopall and then updateall. None of the above have worked. The game got updated last week, but not this one.

You are clicking on the buttons that update the instance (AMP), not the server (Icarus).

Manage the instance (click on the cube icon, or double click the instance tile) and stop the server if it is running. Then click on the Update button on the Status page

Thank you, Greelan. Clearly, I have been working too hard. I have done this X times and I just… Never mind.

That solved it. I do not even have to check. I just saw the Update completion bar.

This helped a lot! I couldn’t find the update button. I didn’t know you could double click a instance to access it. I thought you had to run the instance to be able to access it. Why is there a update button for the instance, shouldn’t the button just be for the game server?

Not sure why your post got marked as spam by the system. The update button for the instance updates AMP itself. Every instance is a separate copy of AMP, along with ADS (the main panel where you see all instances).

IceOfWraith, I am so sorry. I have used this software for at least a couple of years and updated countless times. I have no idea why I forgot how I did this, particularly considering I did it last week for the weekly Icarus update.

Too much work of late.
