How to multi-OS-server and which license to choose

Good day,

I have 2 systems at home that I want to use for game servers as well. Now I found AMP and it looks like the perfect solution. One of my systems is running Ubuntu Server 25.10 and the other Windows Server 2025 (for (game) servers that are only available on Windows).

Now I saw another topic that mentioned that AMP can be installed as much as possible as long as you don’t exceed the app instances. I’m not planning to exceed the 5 app instances, but I would like to manage both machines from one portal. Would the Starter Edition be enough for me?

Would I then also be able to set-up one machine as an hybrid installation (Ubuntu probably) and then the other as a target (Windows server)?

If you want to manage multiple machines from a single interface (access to controller/target/hybrid modes), you need Professional Edition or above. Starter is limited to single-machine management.
