Problem Description

Issue

Instructions : Configuring AMP to use Docker/Podman for instances

When i click on Create Instance, i get the message below :

Unable to complete task

This task could not be completed: Create instance - Dune Awakening - State: 3.

This instance either requires or has been configured to use containers, but Podman was not found on the system.

Reproduction Steps

  • followed the instructions to get Dockers working (WSL 2)
  • configured AMP Instance deployment settings
  • select Dune Awakening
  • click on Create Instance

According to the error, you are using podman, not docker, but it isn’t installed. Install podmanand retry.

It’s resolved ! I was running a “per-user” installation of Docker, but you need to install the “all users”. My bad !
