Problem Description

Issue

I created an Instance and it defaulted to Minecraft java 26.2 I then downloaded ALL THE MODS 10 and the server turned on I went to the mod pack and its incompatible with 26.2 but it is compatible with 1.21.1 So I go to configuration then server and start up and roll back to v1.21.1 then update the server when I do that the server will fail at startup.

Reproduction Steps

  • create instance
  • goto the store and download modpack ALL THE MODS 10
  • Downgrade the Version to 1.21.1 through the Configuration Server/Startup
  • Update and start the server it will fail

Change the following options as I list them (if you haven’t already) in Configuration > Minecraft > Server and Startup:

  • Server Type: NeoForge
  • NeoForge Version: 21.1.248

If running with those settings doesn’t work, report what your console says here. You can also get your latest.log from the logs folder and upload it to https://mclo.gs and share the link here.

NeoForge 1.21.1 Server Log [#FAIOliE]

this is the latest log

If this is a fresh server (not loaded from a backup), delete the world folder when the server is stopped and try booting it again.

That worked the server is up the only issue now is I am unable to connect from the client

You’ll have to let me know why before I can help you

How are you connecting to the server? Which IP address?

So I goto multiplayer I add a server and I use the ip given under Primary End Point

And what exactly happens when you try to connect? Similar to the post format above, I need your issue (descriptively), and reproduction steps (which you’ve already provided).

Sorry lol, I am trying my best, so my server is currently running, which is great. I open up the All the Mods profile on CurseForge, and then when I go to multiplayer, I type in the connection info: the Primary Endpoint with the port it says, which is the game port, and after a few seconds of it searching, it says “Can’t connect to server” Now on the side it shows two ports a Game Port and a SFTP port

It sounds like the connection address you’re using is wrong. Is this on a home server and are you connecting with the local IP of your machine running AMP?

Im connecting with my machine and the server is hosted through hostinger not sure how well that answers your question i just now the server isnt directly hosted on my machine

Ahhh that makes sense. I’m unsure how Hostinger does connection info or ports, but do they give you an IP address of your VPS? If so, try connecting with that instead of the “hstgr” whatever link.

There we go it works now because i tried another IP I found but didnt add the port but I tried it with the port and it worked thank you for all your help

Great to hear and you’re welcome. Have fun!

Well now another issue popped up lol if you’re willing to help although im not sure if there is much to be done

Sure, feel free to elaborate

NeoForge 1.21.1 Client Log [#deVhqmR]

I logged on and it still says client mismatch and shows two mods where the server wants one version and the client wants another

Your server’s version of the modpack may be out of date then. The manual fix would just be to replace the mods on the server with the expected versions that are in your client. From the log:

  • Mekanism: The client wants the payload to be version: 10.7.19, but the server wants it to be version: 10.7.18!
  • CodeChicken Lib: The client wants the payload to be version: 4.6.1.529, but the server wants it to be version: 4.6.1.526!

So upload Mekanism version 10.7.19 and CodeChicken Lib version 4.6.1.529 to the server and remove the old versions.

okay let me work on finding them really quick
