Problem Description

Issue

I followed the instructions to adding mods and mod packs to minecraft instance and cannot join server due to mismatched channel mod list

Reproduction Steps

  • downloaded forge in configuration
  • Created mod folder in file manager
  • added zip file of modpack to mod folder
  • extracted files from zip to mod folder
  • matched forge version in configuration to required version from curseforge forge 43.3.0 and minecraft 1.19.2
  • updated srever
  • started server
  • attempted to jpoin server and still receiving same error stating the server is missing mods and they must be removed

Make sure you uploaded the server pack zip and not the client manifest zip (the server pack can be found under the Additional Files section on the CurseForge website).
The zip does not go in the mods folder, it must be unzipped in the “main” server folder.
Only .jar files can be read from the mods folder, any other folders or zips will be ignored by the modloader.
