Problem Description

Issue

Every time I start the server, it restarts the server config to instead say hardcore=false, I need help to fix this

Reproduction Steps

  • Starting the Server
  • Clicking the Start Button
  • Pressing left mouse button on the start button

Search “Hardcore” in the upper right of the panel

we’re trying to use hardcore revival, so it banning dead players wont exactely work, because it isn’t actual hardcore, it therefore wont let us res but will instead just ban them

That wouldn’t be related to AMP’s settings, you’ll need to use a server-side plugin or mod to handle that for you.

You also can’t change the hardcore status of an existing world without editing the world/level.dat’s NBT data.

ok. Theres some help, I need to enable hardcore to use the mod, I dont want a ban system, I want the same hardcore you would have on a singleplayer world, Im just saying I dont want AMP’s ban-style hardcore, instead I want basic hardcore, so I can utilize the hardcore revival mod I already have

That isn’t AMP’s ban-style, that’s usually how Vanilla Minecraft works, or possibly altered by the the MC server software you’re using.
You’ll need to find a plugin/mod that can replicate that singleplayer-like behavior, there isn’t anything you can do in AMP to change that.
