Controller not auth with remote

Auth failure to remote server from controller

Steps to reproduce:

unsure it was working last night and woke up thismore to make a ARk server and couldn’t

Actions taken to resolve so far:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y

sudo su -l amp

ampinstmgr --nocache upgradeall

and have restarted both machines

Is that log from the controller or the target? If this is home hosted, have you checked that none of your IP addresses have changed?

Can I just confirm that you’re managing the instances from the controller and not the target?

yes my controller is R Pi and remote is ubuntu server is HP DL180 , it was fine until they did a reboot for a security update last night

Basically either the controller can’t talk to the target, or vice versa. It’s timing out and the task gets stopped.

Check the firewall rules, check they can ping each other, check that wget -qO- http://OTHER-URL on each of them dumps out a load of HTML.

If you make a new instance, can you manage it?

YES i can create a instance on remote system without controller but i can’t manage it, as it says please connect to your controller at http:// blah to manage this instance

if i try on the controller it says

it is like to connection times out every so often and it can’t connect as i can create a instance on windows server and sometimes manage it and sometimes not only been having these issue after the 2.4 update

Check AMPs logs, I can’t think what’d cause that error save for knackers permissions.
