What happens if you use the Steam server browser and connect via the query port? The “Connect to server” button should also have a sane link here.

Try clicking the little ‘link’ icon, it’s a steam://connect URL that should pop up the steam browser.

If you’re playing on the same system that AMP is running on you can use localhost, otherwise its your internal/external IP.
