Problem Description

Issue

Tried all kinds of things:
Tailscale
Add Firewall Inbound Rule
Updating Instance
Checking Firewall Exception
Flush DNS
Different Port
Checked Connection Stability
playit.gg Tunneling
Restarting Instance
Deleted and made new Instance

Reproduction Steps

  • Create Palworld Instance
  • Allowed Port Forwarding in my Router App (UDP: 8211)
  • Joined Locally Successfully
  • Friend not connected to Local Network attempted to join unsuccessfully

You might be behind CGNat. Tailscale should have worked though. Do you have the software set up on both his computer and the SERVER and they have been allowed by the authentification site? Make sure Tailscale is enabled as well on both his system and the server…Sometimes after it is installed it doesn’t enable.
