Problem Description

Issue

All of the steps above have been followed and player has not been able to join. Player can join other types of instances (foundry vtt). Play has been able to get onto the server before and has also had this issue before. However this time after doing the steps above the issue of “Authentication server not reachable” was not resolved

Reproduction Steps

  • Updated Java on both debian server and player attemting to connect (Player)
  • Restarted both server and player computers
  • Re-installed Main java executable for both player and server instance
  • Installed Java 25 on both server and player

Hi,

this sounds not like an AMP problem. Does other players can join this server? Does every port is forwared in the router / firewall or does an firewall rule blocks the port? (Standard is 25565)?

Can the player try to lookup the following addresses?

Windows:

  1. Open CMD (Win + R → CMD)
  2. Type “nslookup sessionserver.mojang .com”
  3. The Answer should look like this

Server:
Address:

Nicht autorisierende Antwort:
Name: mr-b01.tm-azurefd .net
Addresses: 2603:1061:14:c0::1
150.171.109.193
Aliases: sessionserver.mojang .com
sessionserver-d5hmddgyhza3g3e5.b01.azurefd .net

When this does not look like this, please change your DNS Servers to public ones like 9.9.9.9 or Google DNS like 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.
