Problem Description

Issue

The server will let me join but when my friends try it doesn’t even ping. I don’t know what we are doing wrong. We have the exact same mods and everything.

Reproduction Steps

  • Update all mods and forge
  • delete last server and start again on this one
  • watch it not work and then contact yall

Check for CGNAT:

Compare that IP with the WAN IP shown in your router. If they are different, you’re probably behind CGNAT and normal port forwarding will not work. You’d need a public IPv4 from your ISP,
