Problem Description

Issue

I am trying to get my arma 3 server visable outside of my local network with no luck. I have run through all the “Diagnosing Connectivity Issues” steps and everything looks good. All the ports are being forwarded (2302 - 2307 UDP). I have a minecraft server and a project zomboid server also running and those are visible outside the local network. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reproduction Steps

  • Setup port forwarding
  • Run through all the Diagnosing Connectivity Issues steps

Both ports on router and firewall are forwarded?
What’s the IP of the game server?
Also is this a local machine or is this a VM hosted on the local machine.

I do know that you can’t see your own server under community only someone outside your network can see it.

Not on a vm. Did a fresh install and all seems to be working now. I guess Arma doesn’t like you trying to connect to a local machine with your external IP address. I thought it might work like Minecraft which allows you to use your external IP to connect.
