Task

Recover Minecraft server world after hack and destruction

Problem Description

Issue

A hacker has gained access to our Minecraft server and destroyed the world, deleting builds and altering large areas. We do not have any backups available from our side. We urgently request that you check if there are any server-side or automatic backups or snapshots from before the incident, so we can restore the server to its previous state before the hack occurred. Please advise on the earliest possible backup you can recover.

Reproduction Steps

  • Logged into server and found major destruction across the world.
  • Confirmed with other players that no one authorized the changes.
  • Verified there are no backups available in our control panel.

This is not Hostinger support, you will need to contact them directly

When i open a ticket in hostinguer, they send me to this web

If you didn’t set up backups, none exist. There’s a reason why AMP prompts you to set them up.

As Greelan said, we’re not your host. They sell you the server, but it’s user-managed so it’s on you to configure backups.
